SoundHouse Studio, where students are actively involved in the recording and mixing process.

The Alfred Brash SoundHouse is a Registered Training Organisation (under the Australian Quality Training Framework). We offer a wide variety of one and two day
Professional Learning courses for teachers throughout the year.

SoundHouse has also developed the innovative
SoundHouse Special Access Kitâ„¢. This is a unique system designed to provide people with disabilities access to audio-visual stimulation. An ergonomically designed hardware interface provides the user with the ability to trigger sounds in an interactive manner via specifically designed software.
SoundHouse on Tour is a mobile multimedia lab offering a variety of sound and video classes for primary and secondary school students. SoundHouse on Tour travels to schools and arts centres throughout regional Victoria.
Throughout the course of the year, Alfred Brash SoundHouse co-ordinates a number of
Special Projects which focus on the development of arts practice for secondary students and emerging artists.
Previous initiatives include the regional based student documentary project
Our Town Our Scene and the
Dig Deep Sound Project mentorship program for emerging hip hop artists.
Alfred Brash SoundHouse have also developed a number of Community Partnership Projects in which SoundHouse staff liaise with school teachers to facilitate the delivery of specific areas of the curriculum in a multimedia format. Past projects have taken place at Hawthorn Secondary College and various campuses of the Victorian P-12 College of Koorie Education.
